Why do pathological protein aggregates persist in cells and how can we overcome this?
In our new preprint, we show that Tau aggregates fail to initiate selective autophagy and that their autophagic degradation can be restored.

Today my kid is turning 5! Transitioning through 2 Postdocs into my PI position through a pandemic. Moving Countries. Leaving behind old roles, finding a new version of myself. Those have been the 5 hardest AND richest years of my life. I am so grateful for it and everyone supporting along the way β™₯️
