Trying to learn how to best #preserve our #fruits and #vegetables. Here I'm moving #salad out of its #plasticpackaging to prevent the molding of the #lettuce. I find that moving the lettuce to open air in the fridge helps, but the leaves do wilt faster. A cover on the bowl of lettuce may help!

Emptied the #reencle about 80% and added the used tissues in our #kitchenscraps bin to absorb moisture. #happycomposting

Looks like pretty good broken down #kitchenscraps! A little bit wet, but emptying my #reencle system and adding the used tissues are going to help reduce moisture in the system. #happycomposting

Stale tortilla chips are a great addition for your #compost! Usually your #kitchenscraps bin is quite moist. At least ours is! Adding #stalechips or #stalebread help soak up the extra moisture.

I made a delicious #chickenbroth after #thanksgiving that my wife straight drank out of a teacup☕! She even asked for seconds😍!!
After making the broth, I strained the scraps and put them in my #kitchenscraps bin. When this bin gets full, I bring it out to my #reencle system
