Trump: “I take Putin at his word”
Trump said he could end the Ukraine war in 24 hours. He said he could do this because of his special relationship with Putin. Now he blames the president of the country that Putin invaded. Sad.
The war will be over when I feel it in my bone spurs.

The is the federal government telling news stations to provide favorable coverage of the war or their licenses will be pulled.
A truly extraordinary moment.
We aren't on the verge of a totalitarian takeover. WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF IT.
Act like it.
If we made the green energy transition this war would be unthinkable and these authoritarians wouldn’t be in power — not in the US, not in Iran, not in Saudi Arabia, not in Russia. Hydrocarbons are killing our freedom and just plain killing us.
Brendan Carr, FCC chair, threatens broadcaster licenses. This is a violation of the First Amendment.
First Amendment violation, Brendan.
I wonder if a class-action lawsuit (with 320 million of us being the injured class) might change your mind.
Do this and ALL of us will see you in court.
i don’t know exactly how to articulate it but like, we’re absolutely at war yet it doesn’t feel like it because the people leading it are so fucking stupid so the typical climate of seriousness is missing? if that makes sense?
War is peace and peace is gay.

There it is…
I don’t see a way out of this. Taking the Strait of Hormuz or seizing Kharg island will result in considerable loss of life. We can’t exactly apologize because we killed the Ayatollah. I doubt anyone besides Israel is gonna help us. This is a disaster.
The lying just doesn't stop...
What I always hear: “We can’t afford to pay our workers more than $15 an hour.”
What I never hear: “We can’t afford to pay our CEO millions of dollars a year.”
Funny how that works.
if the Justice Department and federal judges are willing to set the bar for “providing material support to terrorists” this low—an encrypted group chat, auto-deleting messages, wearing black, possessing zines—what the Praireland defendants have been through will likely be just the beginning
WSJ: Gen. Caine “said in several briefings that U.S. officials had long believed Iran would deploy mines, drones and missiles to close the world’s most vital shipping lane ..
“.. Trump acknowledged the risk, these people said, but moved forward ..”

CNN Could Be the Next Washington Post
"If the Washington Post’s capitulation is any indication, CNN’s old moniker of 'The Most Trusted Name in News' will soon ring every bit as hollow as the Post’s 'Democracy Dies in Darkness.'"
Dems offered to fund just TSA and Republicans said no
Unprecedented corruption. Literally asking for billions of dollars.
The alarming fact is that we’re not even close to the bottom with this madman.
No amount of spin from Trump and his lackeys can cover up the fact that Americans shelled out an extra $1.5 BILLION for gas this past week because of his disastrous war with Iran.
His whole life, Trump has always had someone else around to bail him out of the messes he creates: his father, Allen Weisselberg, the "adults in the room" in his first term. Now all those protectors are gone and he is openly begging for someone to save him from his own folly.
In South Carolina, some parents embrace vaccines, others opt out. Why do people make such different choices? A mix of politics, distrust and misinformation is pushing neighbors apart.
It’s crystal clear now that Trump has lost control of this war. He badly misjudged Iran’s ability to retaliate. The region is on fire.
