That’s statistically untrue, but I doubt you’ve done the research! Trans people also cover a gamut, so I’ve never been considered a cis man, I thought the height would tip you off but some people are just fucking stupid.
Well going by statistics, I’m the least likely to shoot up a group of people. It might be a good idea to look inward before you end up making decisions you might regret. Just some advice, good luck.

I think having them ask and the dad accepting however they identified was the right choice. Builds confidence, makes questions like ‘what are your pronouns’ more normalized etc
