Surprise snow in Woodinville today. And a coyote (no pic of coyote.)

I agree! I'm editing for a new edition of PR for Poets, and I'm unsure what benefits most people are getting from most social media these days, especially poets. I know Twitter isn't the same, but even Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok are not sure things and like you say, might just increase anxiety.

Thanks again for including me! Looks like a bunch of us are feeling discouraged about a. publishing poetry and b. money, surely related topics? I was just thinking about how to talk to new poets about social media.

Thanks again for including me, Dave. I love reading these every week. I always discover a new poet (to me) or new insights.

If every single married woman isn't out in the streets protesting this, they either don't know what's happening or don't recognizing it's taking away their vote.

My friends who are coders say that AI code is very recognizable garbage. I can say right now that poetry and music composed by AI are by no means "comparable" to a talented (or even untalented) human or musician. Being human and creating art is what we are made for, not to be slaves to AI.

Thanks for including me, Dave. I really enjoyed this week's readings. I swear it is one of the most uplifting things I read all week. Also a reminder I'm not the only one out here.

This is a very important contribution! Thank you. It is very hard for me to find out if residencies are "accessible" - because that can mean a lot of things to a lot of people and I don't want to get to a place and whoops, have to go home b/c I can't get into a building or shower. Thank you!

worth noting that the second rich people stopped being afraid of mobs tearing them limb from limb, they stopped building libraries and opera houses and stuff and started ripping the copper wiring out of the walls of society instead

Does poetry make a difference? I hope so. I can protest, I can send money, I can write my congresspeople, but really, I am a poet, so here is "I Declare My Resistance," first published in Rise Up Review.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but cops are not allowed to shoot people just because you didn't do what they said.

That is called murder when they do that.

Some cops are working hard to convince people otherwise.

Broke my elbow (funny bone) when I fell out of an office chair. Was diagnosed with MS shortly thereafter, when the elbow surgeon noticed nerve strangeness in the arm and noted vertigo can be a neurological symptom. Sigh.
