If you're going to get into a dick-swinging contest with the rest of the world, you might need to be able to pull it out past your zipper. ๐๐๐จ๐ฆ
While not quite on par with the original show, I did enjoy those Incredible Hulk TV movies, and wanted them to continue. Shortly after this, Bix got sick, if memory serves.
According to the date at the bottom, I finished this poster-sized recreation of Iron Man on 3-3-92. I used a device called a Project-a-Scope to blow up the image from a letters page and traced the basic outline, then filled in the details, inked it, then finished with colored pencils. Good times!
Welcome aboard!
One of the most strongly cast shows on TV
It's true! ๐ Seriously, though, comic books have been my lifeline for most of my existence. Even now, when I need an escape from reality that's still where I often go.
See, now that's a comic book cover! It grabs you and compels you to buy it! I gotta know what happens!

I first started digital artwork via drawing tablet in 2016. The Wolverine silhouette was one of my first works, while still learning the application. The 2nd drawing was a year later, 2017. Today, I'm still learning new ways to do things.

West Coady Avengers #1 cover
Finally read the new West Coast Avengers today. @gerryduggan.bsky.social wrapped a great intro story with just enough nostalgia to satisfy this guy. Looking forward to what's next!
What do short-form social media apps have against an edit button? It seems like a simple thing, really.
Finished digital inks and started to put down some flat colors in Autodesk Sketchbook. Ron Frenz pencils always deliver!

65 years ago today โ November 20, 1959 โ Twilight Zone's "Time Enough at Last" debuts.
Rod Serling and Burgess Meredith (in the first of four TZ roles) bring us a reader's worst nightmare.
A look at how Serling adapted the original short story for TZ: thenightgallery.wordpress.com/2016/07/19/s...
Been sick for awhile, and doing some digital inking to help get my focus back the past couple days. Gorgeous pencils posted on Facebook by the ever prolific Ron Frenz. I use Autodesk Sketchbook on my Galaxy 12" tablet.

I just finally hired an editor for my upcoming novel, and one of the first things she did was tell me the context of my book's first line was wrong. What?! I had agonized over that line for weeks, and had reread it a hundred times. But she was right. And now my book is better.
Comic book covers I love!
One of the first Iron Man comics I ever read, a few years before he became my favorite super hero. This cover just grabbed ya! Drawn by the one and only Bob Layton!
Loved when the 2012 Avengers film payed tribute to this!

I just love the fact you're talking about issue #275. A phenomenal accomplishment. Congratulations, sir!
Nice thing is I hear there are better tools here to nuke them.
That's unfortunate to hear. Carson was a staple of late night in my youth and I found his showmanship and comedic timing to be superb. I'm noticing a lot of celebrities I admired over the decades have had similar revelations.
Comic book covers I love!
Picked this one up off the spinner rack (yes I'm that old!) because of the unique cover composition. Wasn't until decades later I found out Ed Hannigan was likely inspired by Will Eisner!

I just watched the original Crow a couple nights ago. They packed a lot into 94 minutes
#HEAVYMETALQUEEN digital edition is live! I hope you like it. I worked hard on it. It clocks in at a beefy 42 pages (I love big odor 1's), so you will definitely get your money's worth. Let me know what you think. Physical edition coming soonish. Enjoy!

The use of light and shadow here is perfect!
Working with my editor to finish up some rewrites, and then we're in the home stretch.
Gary Wilkins can randomly see how people will die, an ability that tears his life apart. When he sees the death of someone close to him, it becomes a desperate race to save her. And what if he fails?
