Oh ballpoint pen? Thats actually a great thing to exercise. One of the core things my art teachers always taught me is to ditch the eraser. People who are new to art keep erasing every little mistake they make, things like drawing with pen make you commit to every stroke and embrace the imperfection
oh the hand exercise!! I used to do that a lot in art school. I loved drawing with charcoal but everything it touched got so dusty and dirty that it was really hard for me to store my art anyway without spraying it with spray varnish
You ever tried drawing with charcoal? If you like that rough sketchy texture charcoal could be fun to experiment with, you can shade with your fingers and even get white charcoal for those really bright highlights
there's some tricky perspective there, I love the sketch texture of the pencil!
What- What do you mean, did you not watch disney channel lol? This show
It was so sick it taught kids to make all kinds of arts and crafts, I learned how to paper mache because of this show lol
reminds me of art attack
Youβre all going to βItβs not that deepβ yourselves into lower and lower levels of intelligence.
I have no interest in engaging with people so passive and unpassionate in their own lives
Oh where are you going?

Iβve had a very good day todayβ¦ itβs very rare for me to have consecutive good things happen to me. I played my favorite board game (in solo mode) after being stuck working for so long.
Good days can be rare sometimes, so cherish them and enjoy them when they do happen π
Lately I have gone back to doing something I used to do years ago but stopped: youtube! I decided to do a funny video essay but filming with my fursuit now! I am rebranding my channel to furry focused and I'll be doing humorous reviews of movie and media!

I ask that because itβs important to remember that every kind of paint has its own techniques!! Using watercolor techniques for acrylic paintings wonβt make it turn out good! If you try and learn a bit about some basic techniques for the paint youβre using youβll start to get more comfy with it
What kind of paint are you using? In traditional art everyone has βtheir mediumβ that works for them. For me itβs watercolors. If youβre using acrylics then yeah they dry very fast because theyβre plastic based lol. Meanwhile oil takes days to dry. Gouache is the standard that most schools use
Learning a new dance style?? π
Lately I have been learning a new style for dance routines: Vogue! I am used to more masculine styles so itβs being very fun to try out some more extremely feminine techniques (watch till the end to see me slip and fall)
A man and a woman posed in character costumes. The man is dressed as a hairy reptilian character with easy eyes and a large bushy beard. The woman is kneeling and dressed as an Eastern dragon with feathers, horns, and whiskers.

Np, idk what drawing program you use but for me when I draw on Photoshop I find that doing a multiply shadow layer on top of the drawing and then erasing it little by little to mark where the lighting will be makes the end result more natural looking and not like everything is way too bright:
The lighting looks really cool, can I give a suggestion? I think for outdoor scenes like that that involve a lot of shade it might make the lighting more dynamic to work from dark to light. Put on a layer of shade on the entire drawing and light it up little by little, that way it's not too bright
Thinking of all the ramen I could be having rn instead of college work π
