I think that sometimes people don't have their priorities set right. They don't think of all the things and obligations in their lives aside from writing. For example, my long form is my priority, so it's what I invest 90% of my writing time in it.

It's the same for me. Even if I don't get my manuscripts published, I won't be able to stop creating because, what else is out there really?

Old habits die hard, and this place is not making any improvements at least for me to make it my primary app.

My approach was sending all the queries (a total of 80) in one long weekend. I'm only expecting the emails now because I can't start a new project (I'm exhausted of all the work I've been doing on these manuscripts).

Well, as long as it keeps working for you, which it does because your stories are great, just keep at it.

I'm the opposite. I have to put a little autobiographical stuff in everything. I am really really a "write what you know" type of guy.

I'm 34 pages away from finishing revisions in this MS, and right now I'm on this whole new chapter I added in the last round, and as I read the first paragraphs I realized that I needed to spend more time thinking about it, than working on it. And that sums up my revisions process.
