Well, as far as merit goes, you have to admit, these guys hit it out of the park: you want to hire a dumbass, you canβt do better than this! Ditto for the whole damn cabinet and administration.

20 out of 20. Does that mean weβre Gen X or Boomers? Iβm X. Some tech I miss; other stuff, not so much. Cassettes? No thanksβCDs are much better. Donβt really miss LPs (except for the art & essays), but kids seem to dig em and I do still have a turntable.
We are committing unfathomable crimes. We can stop there. Every country we have attacked has significant portions of their societies who will suffer much more than the bad leaders we are ostensibly attacking. Trump will do less than nothing to help them. We must hold him accountable!
He sure did! Along with making groceries and health care more expensive while spending our tax dollars on wars we donβt want and self-serving ad campaigns that could have funded all kinds of more useful jobs, or education initiatives or health care coverage.
Succinctly accurate! Iβd add that Iβm sick of one bad apple causing so much rot. Most of us want to do the kind thing, the right thing, and then one jerk comes along and decides to F all the rules and norms and screws it up for everybody.
I didnβt like Bush 1 or 2, and though I have no insight into why he didnβt show, it ainβt a good look. Still, I suppose Jackson played for the opposite sideβ¦ Decency and just being a kind human are in short supply these daysβ¦
Surprise!!π€ͺβΉοΈ
That cartoon is so on the nose!
I agree with the majority here: most people are good. Whatβs remarkable is how just a handful people among billions can cause such chaos and pain for everybody else. They obviously have helpers and that speaks to how humans are good/bad depending on the situation. No one is all one thing.
π― Hypocrites. Which of Danteβs circles of hell do you think he belongs in??
Iβm not a big fan of killing, but there are times when one wonders how many lives could be saved if just a few were endedβ¦ I canβt fathom the minds who would deliberately kill innocent people to protect their interests. The ugliest, basest form of humanity.
Ah! Is that whatβs going on?π. Here I thought it was static. Or like the Terminator scrolling through possible human responsesβ¦
And Jennings is apparently a mouthpiece for all thatβ¦
The degree of heartlessness of this administration never fails to astound me. These people have taken their hearts and buried them so deeply underground, itβs not clear they are still human in the sense that we are social animals. I cannot understand what they think they are doing.
I think that question is being asked in different ways. And the answer is, perhaps, that there is no legal route to deport most people detained, so theyβre putting them in horrible camps, hoping they will self-deport, helping the feds with a cheaper way to deport them. Ugly
Baby dictator is a total disgrace. But his cabinet and enablers are the bigger disgraces. They are traitors: eroding our democracy with every action they make The Orange Man take.
Always, Jaye! Caffeine first (though I need caffeine to make caffeinated drinks)! Then my favorite indie rock radioβNic and Jet in the morning! Then, Iβm ready to rock! www.thesocalsound.org
Demons?? I think youβre being too polite. There are people in power who deserve to be condemned to live in a Hieronymus Bosch painting for all eternity, but likely they will never be punished properly for what theyβve done. Stillβ¦ We should try!
Agreed! The heat applied already seems to be making certain powers boil and sputter. Melting from within might work, too. ππ
So true! Itβs hard to write satire when your subjects are satires themselves.
Amen, Battle Cow! Melt it down!
Try this on for size. Iβm calling it a night.
And actually, this is not historically true.
Wow, you are full of slogans. No, it doesnβt. But I never said it did. Whatβs your point here? Somehow guns will solve everything? They wonβt. They just ensure somebody wonβt (ever) leave the scene after the gun appears. Wonβt necessarily be the person you hoped would be hurt.
Wow.
I canβt change your mind. But I hate guns with a passion you wouldnβt believe. I lost my best friend to a murder that never would have happened if guns werenβt so prevalent. So Iβm deeply invested in finding other ways. And I say that, knowing I wonβt shed a tear when heβs dead (soon hopefully).
On the one hand, I hear you and agree. On the other, imagine people showing up to protest with guns. Vengeance would be satisfying, but bloody, and weβd lose too many good people. Weβre not at that point in the storyβhope we never get there. I really believe we can defeat them without guns.
Thatβs a beautiful thing: generations or waves of relatives, able to speak the language of music with each other.
Oh, now Iβm reading carefullyβyou said drums and piano! Nice!
