12 years ago, asking for raylib on official OpenGL forums
On this day, 12 years ago, I asked on official OpenGL forums for a simple and easy-to-use library to put graphics on screen.
I got no answer so I created #raylib.๐

And now you and #raylib are an inspiration to many, including me!
Oh this is such good timing! I was just tinkering with wgpu + odin to learn how to make a graphics library.
Lol 80085, I just showed my daughter that a few days ago except it was 58008 on a calculator, turned upside down.
5-panel comic. (1) [teacher with long hair next to whiteboard] TEACHER: Iโm supposed to give you the tools to do good science. (2) [teacher addressing students] But what *are* those tools? Methodology is hard and there are so many ways to get incorrect results. What is the magic ingredient that makes for good science? (3) TEACHER: To figure it out, I ran a regression with all the factors people say are important: [embedded list in sub-panel, cut off at end] Outcome variable: correct scientific results. Predictors: collaboration; skepticism of othersโ claims; questioning your own beliefs; trying to falsify hypotheses; checking citations; statistical rigor; blinded analysis; financial disclosure; open data (4) TEACHER: The regression says two ingredients are the most crucial: 1) genuine curiosity about the answer to a question, and 2) ammonium hydroxide. (5) STUDENT: Wait, why did *ammonia* score so high? How did it even get on the list? LONG HAIR: ...And now youโre doing good science!

Just added the next part of the graphs and data structures section, covering traversal and pathfinding!
Combined they're about 2.5 hours of new content, live now!

SHENZHEN I/O stream where I try to teach some assembly by playing an assembly-inspired game is now up! This is very much an experiment, so please let me know if this format was still entertaining + educational :)

Hundreds of thousands of Computers won't be able to upgrade to Windows 11, but that shouldn't make them eWaste. Kudos to the kde team for this amazing initiative! This website provides options and information for installing KDE desktop and reuse older computers safely

Wrote a blog post about "no-engine gamedev" -- About creating video games without a big game engine, while also being productive and having fun! zylinski.se/posts/no-eng...
This is a no-brainer. I'd give it 1000 stars if I could!
This dude loves his craft. So awesome!
I have yet to find uses of Rerun that aren't fun ๐

I've had the pleasure of using @rerun.io on a recent project, after having not used it in a while. It is incredible how many new features I'm am finding!

Unfortunate that it's solved? Or that people can't witness how unbalanced it is? ๐คฃ
rGuiStyler 6.0, a styles designed tool for raygui library, showing the new "Genesis" style, created with the same tool.
Hey! **rGuiStyler 6.0** is out! ๐
A complete redesign for this raygui styles designer tool! I also created this new style called "Genesis"! I really like it, I think I'm using it with all my other tools! ๐
The tools is free and open-source!

I have completely replaced File Explorer with FilePilot in daily use. That's probably the fastest I've ever permanently switched a bread-and-butter tool like this. FilePilot beta is more polished than most people's finished products :)

it is called vibe for a reason... lmao
I recently had the honor of interviewing Zenโs chief architect Mike Clark! I tried to fit in as many microarchitecture questions as I could, including x64 vs ARM ISA power efficiency, 4k vs larger page sizes, 64-byte cache lines, scatter/gather and more:

100% best way I've found to learn and have concepts actually stick.
I can't wait to have the opportunity to play around with Jai
That's awesome! Love seeing you all kicking ass!
