Good to see examples of 1980s rivals, Renault 5 Supercinq and Peugeot 205, still in daily use.
IMHO the styling of the 205 seems to be somehow fresher than the Renault, but both are very impressive as 40 year-old cars.

I had a one-year contract in the UK in 1994 & the company loaned me an ex-sales rep Carina E - 18 months old with 62K miles on the clock.
Every time I got in I was amazed that it felt like a brand new car.

Citroen and Renault left their iconic cars alone for years before they started “smartening” them up in the 1980’s.
This is the first #Renault 4 E-tech that I have spotted in the wild. I quite like it, although the rear three-quarter view looks a little bit clumsy.
