HUD’s “Site & Neighborhood Standards” rules prevent us siting new Faircloth units at P3, because of the demographics of that census tract. But we have an active program to build all 3000 Faircloth units across the city! PH subsidy alone is not enough for new construction, so takes multiple sources.

STATEMENT ON ICE SHOOTING
OF ALEX PRETTI
After another gruesome act of fatal violence by federal agents on the streets of Minneapolis, all Americans must demand that the Trump Administration end its deadly, unlawful, and unconstitutional occupation of the Twin Cities.
The ongoing invasion of our cities by a dangerous and out-of-control federal administration must be stopped. This week, the City of Boston led 44 cities around the country in supporting the federal lawsuit to end the illegal ICE surge in Minnesota.
Our hearts are with Alex Pretti's loved ones and the people of Minnesota and we share their grief. While we mourn once again a tragic and needless death, we urge the court to take immediate action to stop the violence, end the occupation, and help local leaders in the Twin Cities restore peace to these communities under siege.

Boston Mayor's Office Statement on Property Value Certification
We thank the MA Department of Revenue for their diligent work at this time of year to certify property valuations for all the municipalities across the Commonwealth. Now that the valuations for Boston’s 180,000+ parcels have been confirmed, we can say with certainty that unless the state legislature takes action on Boston’s residential tax relief home-rule petition, the average single family homeowner’s tax bill will go up by another 13% next year, with many households having even higher increases than the average. This will mean that under state law, Boston residents will have seen their taxes go up by 34% since 2023, with eight straight years of increases over 5%. This is unacceptable and deeply destabilizing for our residents and for the businesses they run, work in, and shop at. We urge swift passage of this legislation before tax bills go out in January.

Matthew 25:41-46
New Revised Standard Version, Anglicised
41 Then he will say to those at his left hand, “You that are accursed, depart from me into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels; 42 for I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not give me clothing, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.” 44 Then they also will answer, “Lord, when was it that we saw you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not take care of you?” 45 Then he will answer them, “Truly I tell you, just as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.” 46 And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.’
Not much the Bible says more clearly than “Feed My Sheep.”
