If this Android Xbox emulator actually worked, I’d try it. As far as I can tell, performance is so bad that no games are really playable. www.xda-developers.com/original-xbo...

I’m encountering this weird issue where my MacBook’s cursor is randomly clicking off of things, both with the trackpad and my mouse. It seems to happen when coming out of sleep mode. I can’t figure out what’s causing it.
I’ve been very against a touchscreen coming to the MacBook, but at this point I sort of don’t care. As long as the standard MacBook Pro without a touchscreen is still around, this makes sense. www.xda-developers.com/macbook-ultr...
I'm deep into Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 again. I forgot how ridiculously immersion this game is. It's so easy to lose yourself in its world 🗡 .
At this point in my life, I really don’t care about physical media personally, but I’m glad it’s still around for other people. www.xda-developers.com/streaming-ap...
Oddly, I can’t seem to add the game to the Nvidia GeForce app manually (I figured I could limit the frame rate that way). I get some sort of admin error. PC gaming is fun sometimes.
The frame limiter feature doesn’t work either (I’m still getting 144Hz somehow). Weird.
The Xbox Game Pass version of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 doesn’t seem to be recognized by Nvidia’s GeForce app. There also some refresh rate weirdness (I can’t select over 60Hz even though my monitor supports up to 144Hz). The frame limiter feature doesn’t work either.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is an Xbox Play Anywhere game. I was just able to transfer my save from the Xbox Series X to my gaming PC. Hell ya. I have no clue what I’m doing in the game, but I’m looking forward to getting back into it..
Look, 8GB of RAM in the MacBook Neo isn’t great in 2026, but in the context of the RAM shortage, I kind of get it. I’m also willing to bet anyone that thinks that computer won’t run absolutely fine for basic tasks, likely hasn’t used a Mac recently.
Back when I got Apple products early, this was always one of my biggest concerns when running benchmarks. I’m surprised it still happens so often.
All of these “leaked” M5 and MacBook Neo benchmarks are just reviewers that haven’t paid for Geekbench and the results are getting automatically uploaded 🫡.

To be clear, this laptop isn’t for and I wouldn’t buy it (I need more from a laptop). But there’s an audience of Mac users out there that just want a basic, affordable MacBook. The big question for me is how smooth it performs with just 8GB of RAM.
The MacBook Neo looks great (the Citrus color is awesome). Apple has needed a true entry-level laptop for a long time, and this is it. www.xda-developers.com/apple-colorf...
