Friendly reminder, Maduro had multiple chances of:
Not stealing multiple elections
Not disappearing and torturing thousands of Venezuelans
Not barring opposition candidates from running
Not starving Venezuelans with his policies
Stop the plunder
Stop the drug trade

He took none of these chances

Some people were angry I was preaching caution in #Venezuela instead of celebrating. Yes, Maduro out is a relief; but Delcy & Gang with wartime powers to suspend rights is a terrifying perspective. I wasn't doing cartwheels because I fear we Venezuelans will be off worse.

So HR dumps this on managers and then reports to investors what fantastic KPI they achieved. Managers can't be bothered and try to find something quickly, passing the buck on to you. The employee is less productive, and quite frankly, pissed, nothing works, but the shares go UP. That's capitalism.

Basically, HR came up with this "project" to give us "training" and then forced the managers to sign us up for classes they chose. They didn't have time, so ended up choosing a whatever class that has little to no use for your actual job.

There's a new HR racket in town: LinkedIn Learning.
The company signs you up to these mandatory "courses" on a marketplace page where companies try to sell you products. I needed to buy Excel Pro and Copilot to do a class on A.I. But here's the thing: you HAVE TO do the classes. They're mandatory.
