I agree that people should definitely switch over. I'm only still on there because I don't particularly want to miss out on people that don't want to switch... my engagement is greater on here than there (I mostly just RT over there).

Based on my knowledge on being on the internet for so long, there's definitely groups out there who would be willing to do this. Just like there's groups willing to review bomb movies or services for whatever reasons they believe.

Also if it was AI, it would get people with locked accounts. I know a lot of people that locked their accounts and survived. *shrugs* it's mostly speculation in my part but I do sit in the tech space so my guess isn't completely uneducated.

It doesn't feel consistent enough. Why only some and not others and AI is definitely faster than the bans it's been handing out. It could've done a mass ban in a matter of days, this took weeks.

I definitely agree that people should move here though.

I think it's not actually the algorithm seeking and doing removals. I think it's a (toxic) group of people reporting everyone and then the AI just agreeing with them. I've heard of a number of people getting their accounts back. The ban wave seems to have died down for now.
