Same here. Bucky cat loses traction and goes flying across the hall if his feets are not trimmed. He is very chill about the clippers, and seems to have an easier time grooming his toes with them trimmed. It definitely helps with litter getting tracked around to trim the toe fluff.
The secret is to keep fun stuff in the basement. You still don't know why you went there originally, but you are enjoying life once you get to the basement so it's ok
