So is that why France is sending all those boats out that yonder direction?

I have been saying for years that the Republican staffer class had gone full Nazi but it’s cool that there’s no disputing it now.

Simplifies things.

Oh yeah. They’re utterly miserable on any ecosystem they get themselves into.

If we can channel some of that excess chud energy floating around into getting rid of these carp and restoring some fisheries I’d call it a win.

CHURCH AND MINISTRY

79
Rev. Charles Woodmason, an Anglican clergyman who itinerated on the South Carolina frontier, a pronounced partisan, who it may be aroused more than the usual animosity, accused the Scotch-Irish Presbyterians of doing everything they could to hinder his activities. In his Journal he tells how they changed dates on his posted announcements of when he would preach, carried off the keys to his meetinghouse, distributed whisky two hours before his service to get his congregation drunk, refused him hospitality, gave him false directions, and the like.
One of his entries states:
tad ned Cornt to met me at the Head of Hanc

…and making Religion a Cloak for Convetousness, Detraction, Guile, Impostures and their particular Fabric of Things.

Just great stuff.

These … Presbyterian … stir up the Minds of the People against the Establish'd Church ... I find them a Sett of Rhapsodists-Enthusiasts-Bigots-Pedantic, illiterate, impudent Hypocrites-Straining at Gnats, and swallowing Camels…

There is no evidence that the clergy were implicated in such rowdyism, but Woodmason held them responsible nonetheless. "These roving [Presbyterian] Teachers," he wrote, "stir up the Minds of the People against the Establish'd Church, and her Ministers ... I find them a Sett of Rhapsodists-Enthusiasts-Bigots-Pedantic, illiterate, impudent Hypocrites-Straining at Gnats, and swallowing Camels, and making Religion a Cloak for Convetousness, Detraction, Guile, Impostures and their particular Fabric of Things."33 These intemperate utterances suggest that Woodmason was not altogether an unbiased witness. Illiterate the Presbyterian clergymen assuredly were not. The Anglican missionary, it may be assumed, was equally as blinded in his further criticisms.

Beginning to think that itinerant preachers on the American frontier in the mid to late 18th century were just Poasters.

Yeah that’s the thing that’s unclear to me, but I don’t know anything about that market.

Why would the value go to the AI companies when the productivity is in downstream applications? And like, the moat can’t be that deep given what most people actually need.

I tend to agree, but I can see why people say it makes their jobs more intense.

I just moved up an operational timeline by 2 months because I was able to get that much done.

It's a big deal for me because I already have a baseline understanding of these tools but it'll be revolutionary for the other folks (all of them) that I work with that don't.

Hardly ever, actually. Maybe twice a year I'll throw something together in rstudio but for the most part I can get away with an excel model for what I need to do.

But this gave me *way* more than that and is gonna save me a ton of bullshit.

I’m late to this but finally had the chance to sit down with Claude code for a major project and it was incredible. Got me 85% of the way there in a week for what would’ve normally taken a few months.

they request airline specific ground stops just for wx all the time lol (although that'll usually be limited to hub(s) impacted by wx, nationwide is probably some system shit the bed)

that said I am fine if we want to add trump take plane to the glonzoslop messaging

This is kinda like if you go to an emergency medicine medic asking for brain help vs a neurologist. I like it.
