Together with @javiermcanto.bsky.social and a fantastic research team, we will analyse how federalism influences the policy proposals that parties adopt and the leaders they choose.

Great paper on the state of political science osf.io/preprints/os... by @guygrossman.bsky.social et. al. We have become more diverse, more quantitative, and more collaborative.
✅Our findings challenge the idea of a universal trade-off between inclusion and representation. In non-mainstream left parties, increased inclusion through primaries doesn't seem to come at the expense of women’s chances of success.
Thrilled to share our new article 🎉! Using data from 692 candidates in 7 countries, we demonstrate that the impact of party primaries on women’s leadership success varies according to party ideology. 👉
