This latest turn of events leaves such a bittersweet feeling. I think Maduro/chavismo is awful but I also hate Trump/MAGA. Capturing the head of an oppressive regime but leaving its structure intact, so you can get a political win to enable your authoritarian power grab at home is a no-go for me.
