Agree "buy well, buy once". My Zanussi washing machine is 17 years old, needed a deep clean of the internal water network, but haven't changed the pump or door seal yet. Would definitely buy another. 15yo AEG tumble dryer going strong too, but slowly getting clogged with fluff in the darkest parts😭

Agree, all un-earned income should be taxed according to the normal bands, we've got enough tech to automate all this to minimise opportunities to avoid paying.

Trying to identify what's on the conveyor. So far seen celery, peas, Andrew's Liver Salt, wine, Golden Syrup, Condensed Milk, prunes.

Much as I galls me to fill in & pay my self assessment (shares income & 1 rented property), I know it's the right thing to do. It also massively irritates me to know there are many people who simply don't bother. Will simplify my life and make it harder to avoid paying.
