Missing Phone - Gator Days Characters August - Alligator - A soft spoken single father who works in IT. Gustopher's dad. Gustopher - Alligator - An easily excitable child who loves making friends. August's son. Mewbert and Nougat - Cat - Animal - August and Gustopher's pet cats. Transcript Panel 1 The power has gone out and Gustopher is trying to figure out what happened. This has also conveniently made this panel extremely easy to draw. Gustopher: Dad! Did the power go out? August: I think so. Help me find my phone. I'll get a light. Panel 2 August has turned on the light on his phone. This means I actually had to draw this panel. Mewbert is peacefully sleeping on the couch in the background. Gustopher is momentarily stunned by the light, but at least his dad found his phone. August: This will help. My phone should be in this room. Panel 3 Gustopher is confused. His dad is looking for his phone while using said phone as a light. He fights the urge to say anything and wonders how long it will take his dad to realize what's going on. Mewbert is annoyed at the commotion. Nougat has found herself on the top of the couch and is amused by the commotion. August: I was just using it. I don't know where I- Panel 4 August suddenly realizes that he is using is phone to try to find his phone. Embarrassment washes over him. Gustopher will remember this. August: Oh. Mewbert closes her eyes and attempts to go back to sleep. Nougat watches from above and it calculating how funny it might be if she pounces on Mewbert right now.

Collect Them All - Gator Days Transcript Panel 1 Olivia is watching Hannah play a video game. Hannah is hanging upside down on the couch because she's just that cool. It's how the cool kids play video games. I can't play video games like that, I'm not cool enough and it would hurt my back. Olivia just noticed that Hannah did something terrible. Olivia: YOU MISSED A GEM! Hannah: I did? Panel 2 The game that Hannah is playing is a cartoony platformer with a colorful character. The character looks like he is perpetually uncomfortable. There are collectable gems and Hannah can see one near the top of the screen in the direction she just came from. Hannah: Ah, I see it. Oh well. Panel 3 Hannah does not seem to care that she has missed the gem and is continuing on. Olivia does not understand. Olivia: You're not going back to get it? Hannah: Nah, I won't lose sleep over it. Panel 4 It is now night time and Olivia is in bed and unable to sleep. How could Hannah not go back and collect the gem? Does she not like gems? It was right there? Why didn't she just grab it. What if the gem lead to a secret? What if there's something special that happens when you get all the gems? Olivia will remember this.

The End of the World - Gator Days Transcript Panel 1 August and Gustopher are walking home from the grocery store when they see a street evangelist spreading the good news about the end of the world with a megaphone. He is lifting the holy text "THE FINE BOOK" in the air. Whether or not this book is actually fine is hotly debated. Street Evangelist: REPENT SINNERS! THE WORLD'S END IS NEAR! Gustopher: It is? Panel 2 August has lived through multiple declarations of the end of the world and is fairly confident that the world is not ending. Or if the world is ending, it's happening slowly and painfully. August: No, the world isn't ending. Gustopher: But what if it is? I have to live life to the fullest. Panel 3 Gustopher is filled with determination. If the world ends, he's going to be absolutely sure that he has no regrets. Gustopher: When we get home, I'm going to pet cats and play video games. Panel 4 August: You do that every night. Gustopher: I live each day like it's my last. August and Gustopher went home, pet the cats, and played video games.

Text Anxiety - Gator Days Panel 1 Polly is taking a walk. This is one of her favorite streets with a street sign that says "SIGN". It's a great place to go if you're wishing for a higher power to send you a sign. Unfortunately, Polly has a head full of anxious thoughts. She has been waiting for Gwen to text her back but it has taken longer than usual. Polly (thinking): Gwen still hasn't texted back. Is she angry? Panel 2 Polly's thoughts starts to spiral. She's starting to think she might not be a very good friend. Polly (thinking): Maybe I'm bothering her. Am I bad friend? Should I leave her alone? Panel 3 Polly checks her phone and makes a startling discovery that instantly eliminates all anxiety. Polly (thinking): Oh. I forgot to press send on my last text. Panel 4 Now we see Gwen doing some grocery shopping. She's near the produce where we can see a lot of colorful and ideally edible plants for sale. There are "Perfect" CHIVES for sale as well as orange sticks, round brown things, big and green things, and red stuff labelled "RED!!!!!!!!!!". There's also shelf standard store favorites like "Box of Food", "Can of Drink", "FOMO", and "Sold out". It's the usual grocery store stuff. Gwen is also currently feeling relieved. Gwen (thinking): Polly texted! I thought she was mad at me.
