We celebrate abortion in all its forms. No matter where, when, how, or why, abortion care is a right. We #CelebrateAbortionProviders who make that right a reality. We are honored to support these providers by funding travel for patients, ensuring that care is accessible regardless of distance.

Our client service coordinators got to work adjusting and rebooking itineraries, hotel reservations and procedure dates to ensure our clients were still able to get the support they needed. Our team will be there to help make sure weather isn’t a reason abortion is out of reach. 💚

Severe weather is a real and recurring barrier to healthcare. In the Northeast, severe weather causes clinics to close to protect the safety of staff and patients. These circumstances bring unexpected delays and changes to carefully coordinated travel and appointment plans.

This Valentine’s Day, love to us looks like practical support. 💘 Flights booked. Hotels covered. Care within reach. How do you define love?

The Brigid Alliance will always be here with logistical and financial support so everyone is able to access the abortion care they need no matter their income or zip code.

"Pre-viability" is harmful language that specifically targets people who seek abortions later in pregnancy, people who already face discriminatory barriers to getting care. We celebrate this win for AZ, while recognizing that many people will still be forced to travel long distances. ⬇️

An Arizona state court permanently blocked several abortion restrictions—including a 24-hour waiting period and a ban on telemedicine. This will make it easier for many patients to get timely abortions in the state. However, the ruling only protects abortions "pre-viability." ⬇️

Keira traveled 900 miles from Florida to D.C. to get an abortion. Being forced to travel can be overwhelming, especially when costs, logistics, and dependents are involved. We were honored to coordinate every step of her journey, so she could focus on her health and well-being.

Independent abortion clinics provide most abortion care in the states trying hardest to shut them down. They are lifelines. And abortion funds and practical support organizations help ensure people can reach them—by covering costs, travel, and logistics.

We’ve said it before: abortion is health care. When access is limited, patient safety across reproductive care is put at risk.

A study from found that states with TRAP laws—targeted regulations of abortion providers—have worse maternal health outcomes than states without these restrictions, including for people seeking fertility treatment.

Spotlight on Client Abortion Stories - Kailey, West Virginia Meet Kailey. She had to travel out of state to Washington D.C. for a medically necessary abortion after being denied care at 27 weeks by an anti-abortion doctor in her home state.

We’ve been helping people travel to access abortion care since before Roe was overturned – because the truth is that Roe was never enough to ensure equitable access for everyone. That’s not to diminish the tireless work of those who fought for those protections, but they also left huge gaps. 2/3

Today, we should be marking the 53rd anniversary of Roe v. Wade – but instead, our team is doing what we do best: Helping people travel to abortion appointments and working as hard as we can to make abortion care accessible and burden-free. 1/3
