Even if they were actually worried about rooting out the relative nickels & dimes of excess on the budget, a sane administration would review while in place and make a proposal as is the law, not risk the lives of 20m people. Those drugs cost us little but save lives.

I do realize that some people are more comfortable without a serious relationship, which is just fine -- people are different. But NanaAD expressed an interest but questioned the method in doing so. In those cases, I believe in taking chances. Others may differ, maybe I'm just a romantic 😘

I saw a lot of calls to block, which is the norm for accounts considered undesirable for whatever reason. Death threats seem unlikely, particularly here. I do wish people would not dox, even for the really bad cases. Someone could get killed. You could be right about the attention motive.

Until recently the Twitter account was only used to announce blog posts. The website has only recently come out of mothballs due to a resurgence of opportunistic ex-gay groups. I don't know how much engagement we will get here but it is secondary to the blog.

Oh man, that hurts. One of his debates with this wife helped save me from fundamentalist hell when I was locked in a mental loop I couldn't escape. His words literally gave me the hope I needed to see some light at the end of the tunnel and keep living. I hope his wife is OK. They were close.

Yup. Still monitoring the other for a while but it is no longer a viable place for discussion. There are some nuts invading here now that they have fewer to badger there but the block system here is quite effective. I enjoy debate with opposing views, just not with jerks. Hope you enjoy it 😊
