Loved the second book in the series, the side characters are really coming into their own now and I love their dynamics. Excellent ending which makes me want to carry on with the series!

It's a really great surprise of a book! I have around 80 books on my TBR so I'm definitely not doing myself any favours lol π
I really didn't expect to like this book as much as I did. It was delightfully amusing and I thoroughly enjoyed every development, especially Evie's thoughts throughout were particularly amusing.

Excellent wordplay and a phenomenal dynamic between the two main characters. I loved the science fiction elements too and the enemies to lovers trope.

I don't want to reveal too much about the story but my mouth dropped open at one point as I wasn't expecting it to happen. Very gripping and I absolutely loved it.

Roderick Thorpe made the book that inspired the DieHard film. It's called Nothing Lasts Forever, if that's your sort of thing!
A great classic - I love the companionship displayed in the group and the clear care they have for Mina, also recognising her strength in adversity. Bram Stoker's writing is succinct and of his time, I fully enjoyed reading!

Five stars because it was heart-wrenching which evoked so many emotions of sadness. I know it is only loosely based on William Shakespeare's child and life, but I think it's a great likeness to the sadness of losing a child to pestilence and just an emotional literary piece.

Lovely gift from a friend for the train journey back home β€οΈ
Very fast-paced suspenseful short story written extremely well and kept me hooked all the way through. Especially impressed with the plot weaving, despite only being 118 pages long. Loved it!

An easily readable book with clear thriller elements and plenty of suspense. I did guess what was going to happen before the conclusion but I still enjoyed the book anyway. The writing was also excellent!

Another day, another novel...
Currently reading In a Dark, Dark Wood by Ruth Ware.

This was a fast-paced, action packed novel filled with themes of friendships and togetherness throughout. I enjoyed the fantasy elements; I would definitely recommend this book as an easy read for those getting into fantasy reading! @kevin-gallant.bsky.social a great debut!

A classic for a reason! The writing style is wonderfully clear with the emotions and situations of Elinor and Marianne are all presented perfectly for their circumstances. A lesson about society around the time it was written as well.

Another book finished!
I loved the historical aspects of this novel, and that some characters are based on real past people. It was a good read and I would recommend it to people who like science fiction and historical fiction mixed with modern times.

Another installment in the Sherlock Holmes cases summary, from the words of his dear friend, Dr Watson. Each case was interesting and kept me delighted with each one resolved. I recommend this to all who love Sherlock Holmes and cosy mystery solving.

I had a re-read of Macbeth and absolutely loved it. Shakespearean literature for the win! πͺπ»
Macbeth is my favourite play from Shakespeare. Now to hopefully watch it in real-life! π€π»

No way! Hello ππ»ββοΈ love your books, especially the Seaview Hotel series!
I didn't read this day-by-day simply because I am really impatient and needed to finish it π
Loved it in terms of a good horror and I'm glad to have read a book which has Xmas elements in there!
Perfect from horror/thriller readers this winter. ππβοΈ

This is one of my absolute favourite books of all time. Emily BrontΓ«'s ability to create a storyline which evokes such differing emotions and a learning curve throughout. I think it's a gothic romantic tragedy as the tale weaves through themes of grief, relationships and recovery.
