You donβt see this very often - a violent tornado in Michigan, in March, with ice still on the lake. Thoughts are with all those affected. #MIwx
It looked like they were under the gun a few times the other day. I kept waiting for someone to say, βIt looks to hit Wakita head-on.β

June 22, 2007:
Canada's first (and only) official F5 struck the town of Elie, Manitoba. The twister's path was erratic and contained several loops. Several homes were destroyed, including one that was completely swept away. Amazingly, no one was injured or killed.
Excellent, thanks!! Looking forward to it.
@wxfront.bsky.social any chance youβll be adding in Canadian radars?

Spotted the tornado east of Regina, SK today! We missed the southern ones near the US border early on, but still glad we caught at least one. Unfortunately, the earlier left split really messed up the environment, but thatβs how it goes. #SKStorm

We caught 4 tornadoes, storms that posed with snow-capped mountains, battled gusty winds, and racked up more hotel key cards than we can count.

There's still a bit of uncertainty among the models about the system heading our way this Sunday night into Monday. But the latest trends are hinting that it might just miss us to our southeast - meaning we won't get much rain/snow.. But, this could still change.. #MBStorm #MBwx
While it's certainly a possibility, I wouldn't rely solely on one model, particularly the HRRR. You're probably better off looking at the NBM.

Public Information Statement National Weather Service Memphis TN 212 PM CDT Fri Apr 4 2025 ...Memphis Operational Status Update... We have a tremendous backlog of storm reports that still need to be posted. Due to the ongoing warning operations and the extremely high volume of partner coordination, briefings, and media interviews, we simply haven't had the bandwidth to post them in real-time. We sincerely ask for your patience as we continue to balance the delivery of critical, life-saving information during this multi- day event while also working to mitigate staff fatigue. We are only half way through what is a marathon. Please know that all reports are being carefully documented and will be posted in the coming days. At this time, we have made the decision to hold and post Local Storm Reports in bulk rather than releasing days-old reports during active weather. Our concern is that trickling in outdated information could unintentionally add confusion to an already chaotic operational environment. Additionally, we plan on focusing on warnings and communication and will forgo the issuance of any Special Weather Statements for sub-severe storms this afternoon and tonight. Thanks for your continued support, and please keep the real time reports coming as they are critical to the warning process. Stay safe and take care of yourselves and others around you.
