I have been radio silent for a while and I wanted to update you on what has been going on. Starting last year I've been dealing with chronic pain. I had emergency surgery for a ruptured cyst, and was diagnosed with endometriosis. After surgery the pain improved, but instead I've been dealing with fatigue and brain fog that have left me able to work part-time at best. On bad weeks I struggle to get more than just the housework done. All of this has made my mental health take a nosedive as well.

I have another surgery planned for next week, which I hope will improve my symptoms. Unfortunately it comes with a 2-3 month recovery time. I hope to slowly come back to tattooing after recovery, but I can't give an exact timeline. As soon as I'm able to, I will first be reaching out to those still waiting to book an appointment. I want to apologize for being slow to reply. I hope this sheds some light on what has been going on and what to expect going forward.

From there, I hope to get back into the swing of things by going through and uploading the backlog of tattoos I've not posted yet. Being totally real for a minute, updating social media takes me a ton of energy, so if you see me uploading again, that probably means I'm doing better! Realistically, if my symptoms don't improve, I might have to give up tattooing. But for now I remain hopeful that surgery will help. Thank you guys for your continued interest and support with everything going on, it means a lot!

So, I wasn't active here for very long before things went down, but I figured I'd cross-post this from insta anyway to let people know what's going on. I *will* get back to tattooing, and when I do I will be posting here again. 💪😩

I understand, dw! Curating your social media experience is key these days, and exactly what bsky is so good at. My own lack of posting is more because life kinda threw me for a loop this year, I've hardly tattooed the last few months because of health issues. Hoping to get back to it soon 🙏

Pen rotary, because that's what my mentor and everybody else in the shop uses. I can't really get proper guidance for coils so I'm hesitant to try. I'm this 👌 close to getting a dan kubin though, I want them nice fat saturated lines!

👀 You could always start with some red accents and work your way up! A lot cheaper and less daunting than getting a full set of colours
