More than sucks it’s just so disappointing.

I don’t think there are any excuses really. I’ve seen people who have no links to me do more for my country and offer help, be it moral support or actual help than people whose friendships I believed in. I’m used to disappointment so it doesn’t hurt.

Well the reality is there’s are genuinely very little who are. But thankfully I’ve had to go through disappointment the past 2 years so it doesn’t even hurt me anymore. Just makes me angry

But at least it made me realise that the world is fake, and that I should not expect anything from anyone. Because I’ve been more positively surprised by people who had nothing to do with me than people who did.

Either they’ve suppressed my tweets or people just ignore and don’t care about my family and my country. I don’t know.

But for sure ever since I’ve been talking about home I lost a lot of followers and so much interactions

They think we're outdated. While some of us are I will not disagree and I fight against that, look at how the world's shifting and going backwards as well? We probably have more tolerance towards people in general than those who tell us we don't.

People see our lives as Middle Eastern, as Arabs, Muslim lives too as lesser. They think we're uncivilised when they say the Middle East IS the birthplace of civilisation. They think we're barbaric when they come to our lands and kill us in hundreds of thousands and portray it as "collateral damage"

I'm sticking to Blue Sky because I'm fed up of having to repeat myself when it comes to what is happening back home. I am at a loss of words from the lack of care of a lot of people surrounding me. Maybe I need better friends? Maybe...

Having to debate about the Middle East with people who don't understand it or don't want to is genuinely draining.

Particularly when you know your region, your people and its history more than someone who isn't native to there would.
