Disgusted in Tunbridge Wells, if Common Land developed commercially?
It looks as if the status of protections for common land are to be tested in the sale of a privately owned common in Tunbridge Wells, which includes a title of Lord of the Manor & a car park alleged to have development potential.
Why are the BBC showing a video from
1980 again rather than showing the second semi-final live? #bbc #icehockey #winterolympics
Brilliant
So much drama again in the ice hockey. Really enjoying watching the Canadian all-star team. Top quality sport.
Finished Vigil by George Saunders in less than 3 days! Iβm a notoriously slow reader so shows the pace of this text. #booksky
A new study pinpoints two species of bacteria that work together to dry out the lining of the gut and cause constipation
This match is superb #icehockey #CANCZE #winterolympics
Got to meet one of my writing heroes last night. Attended my first How To Academy event: George Saunders in conversation with Richard Ayoade and got a copy of Georgeβs new book signed afterwards. #booksky

Yes, there may be a bit of mud around at the moment. Good luck with getting back out there and fit for next yearβs Half!
Is that a subliminal Harriers message? π
Summer is just around the corner
Really enjoyed Mozartβs opera Cosi Fan Tutte performed by the Merry Opera Company. Iβm not a big opera or Mozart fan but was won over by the live performance. Extra interest added by seeing our local Spoons transformed back into its former opera house setting for the show.
Iβve finished another excellent book: βHow Migration Really Worksβ by Hein de Haas #booksky #reading
Loving the ice hockey in the Winter Olympics.
Great news amidst all the gloom. There have been a lot of beaver releases but these wild releases are really significant in England β finally we are giving this life-giving animal the right to roam. www.theguardian.com/environment/...
Thanks Peter. Howβs your running going? Do you plan to return to Parkrun later in the year?
π
I look forward to seeing you out on the course π
With less that two weeks to go until the Tunbridge Wells Half Marathon, I think I am Half fit, rather than being half fit, for a change. Not taking anything for granted though. #twrunning

@samd23.bsky.social are you volunteering at the TW Half this year?
Glad it wasnβt just me being stupid! π
βOlympic Hockeyβ is trending on BlueSky. If you click on it, none of the posts presented mention, or are about, hockey. Is BlueSky broken or just going the way of other platforms?
