Pine Avenue, LaSalle, DeVeaux -- I can hear the differences in their speech just in that small city. That's not even getting into the Buffalo neighborhood accents which are not the same to a native ear.
But I'm guessing people from outside the area might not hear them as clearly as I do.
Regional accents are fascinating. I was born in Niagara Falls. And when I hear someone speak, who is from the narrow Western New York region around Buffalo I can generally peg where they're from and their social class. Even within Niagara Falls I can hear a couple of distinct accents
