LOL. go watch videos of him in the Texas house.

As a Texas voter, this writer does not understand Texas politics and it is mostly junk. That's one of our problems here. Outside folks, particularly from the coasts, think that those politics can be applied to the complexities of Texas. They can't.
They have this category called "bundled." That means that they scanned donations of people they associated with AIPAC and they include them. While it is a legitimately recognized practice, the problem with claiming association is rather obvious.
Agreed. I think what a lot of people fail to see is that his approach breaks things. Whether intended or not, it breaks out of the "MAGA vs everything is what we are" cycle.
As a Texan, there are two parts I think. One is that they don't understand him so they try to put him in a box. (He is Fetterman and stupid stuff.) The other, totally separate, is I believe there are people on the left who want him to fail. Coastal D methods don't work in Texas.
The one about God being non-binary. Lol.
There a ton of people who want to see him fail. I'm convinced of it.
Thanks!

By "truest blue" you mean coastal democrats who know nothing deep about Texas? People say that because they don't understand what they are looking at. I assure you that few in Texas think that way.
There are videos of him in the state legislature. He did not fall come into this world through a membrane from another reality.
Unfortunately a lot of Ds don't either. This platform is full of crazy whacked out comments about him. Mostly from outside Texas thankfully.
I appreciate you taking the time to write this. I am not sure you answered my question but I'll leave it at that.
I am in Texas and heard it with my own ears in an audience. It's also well documented. Midland campaign rally: "He called for the dissolution of ICE and replacing it with an agency focused on public safety problems, ..." 1/3
I don't understand what "earning those votes" means. Voting is a utilitarian choice. A candidate isn't going out and "earning a vote" in the same way I earn $$ for mowing a lawn. Voters choose between what they can or not vote all. Voting is about influencing outcomes with choices available.
I am in Dallas County and while it was a cluster it didn't effect the outcome.
I am surprised that I am surprised about being surprised about how little people know.
Rule#2: Get fed up with indentation.
Rule#3: Point out reasonable objections to indentation.
Rule#4: See a billion nerds defend indentation as a grouping mechanism just like they have for any language construct since humans came down from trees and banged rocks together.
That's more of an analogy but it isn't far off. Look at the ridiculous discussions about the Texas U.S. Senate primary.
He more strongly and openly supports separation of church and state than many democrats who say nothing religious.
National Democrats - ignore Texas at your peril. As @betoorourke.bsky.social has stated repeatedly, this is our moment to flip Texas and preserve democracy for the country. If we lose, they will make sure we never gave a fair election.

Yes. I was meaning in general. Not that you said that. Sorry about that.
Talarico drove his message early. I get a bit tired of folks not considering that he brought a consistent message early and brought it everywhere and often.
Thank you for that video. Roland is correct. I wrote this thread about a month ago. I analyzed it similarly but by geographic region and a need to attract independents. But the areas on his map are very similar to what I stated but I wasn't going into ethnicity.

I'm confused. Why isn't he in the cabinet?
