I wanna be more excited about Mario Galaxy movie. I hope it’s better than the first. But man I’m worried about the excessive characters and what cringey needle drops are in store.
I think I’m also being turned off of Easter eggs? Not even for this particular movie, just like in general.
I feel like we’re all worried about being judged and smug people wear judging you on their sleeve.
You know what I’d really like this Mario day? A switch 2 update that lets switch 1 controllers turn the damn thing on.

Mario Galaxy Movie is starting to feel like latter films in cartoon franchises like Toy Story where the cast has accumulated so many characters over the years and each one needs to be in this new one and have lines and suddenly you realize Bonnie has like 57 toys talking to each other.

I can wax poetic about this game further, maybe I will.
I love the inane stakes of the story, I love how the world is a hateful fairy tale, I love the odd bits of horror, and I love how it ends bitter and sad.
Happy 25th to Conker’s Bad Fur Day, one of my favorite games ever. I admire late 90s Rare’s ability to look at their platformers, see they were making another one and just saying “fuck it there’s poop and blood everywhere now.”
