Exclusive Meta acquires Moltbook, the social network for agents By Ina Fried (Axios) Meta has acquired Moltbook, a viral social network designed for AI agents, Axios has learned. Why it matters: The deal brings Moltbook's creators — Matt Schlicht and Ben Parr — into Meta Superintelligence Labs (MSL), the unit run by former Scale AI CEO Alexandr Wang. Meta did not disclose Moltbook's purchase price. The deal is expected to close mid-March, Meta says, with the pair starting at MSL on March 16. Catch up quick: Moltbook's social network was designed to run in conjunction with a separate project, OpenClaw. OpenClaw was previously called Clawdbot and briefly Moltbot. Last month OpenAI hired Peter Steinberger, the creator of OpenClaw. That product is now being open-sourced with OpenAI's backing. Zoom in: Schlicht has been working on autonomous AI agents since 2023 and launched Moltbook in late January as an experimental "third space" for AI agents. Fun fact: Moltbook was built largely with the help of Schlicht's personal AI assistant, Clawd Clawderberg. Parr was a former editor and columnist at Mashable and CNET. What they're saying: "The Moltbook team joining MSL opens up new ways for AI agents to work for people and businesses," a Meta representative told Axios. In a blog post, Meta's Vishal Shah said existing Moltbook customers can continue using the platform — though the company signaled the arrangement is temporary. "The Moltbook team has given agents a way to verify their identity and connect with one another on their human's behalf," Shah says. "This establishes a registry where agents are verified and tethered to human owners." The most frustrating features of the anti trans side is how they constantly cite systematic reviews as objective when they're filled with subjective choices that can be adjusted to ensure certain outcomes. From exclusion criteria to individual analysis, it's still subjective. This is the proof.

"Off-label" does not mean the FDA has not approved the medication; it simply means it has not approved the medication *for that purpose,* and pediatric prescriptions are so frequently off-label because it's extraordinarily difficult to do ethical research with children.

If you took your kid to the doctor recently for any reason, there's a one in five chance you walked away with an off-label prescription. Nearly half of all pediatric prescriptions are off-label.

If the Trump administration's position is that certain off-label prescriptions constitute conspiracy to commit healthcare fraud, that could create a chilling effect that will make providers back away from misoprostol-only abortions, even if the DOJ never takes action against them.

Mifepristone and misoprostol are normally used together in medication abortion, but misoprostol works well on its own. Mifepristone is regulated under a special FDA program called REMS that could be used to limit telehealth prescriptions; misoprosotl is not.

The DOJ is suggesting that gender-affirming care providers may be engaging in "conspiracy" because they're prescribing medications off-label. That poses danger for an important backstop in the event old restrictions on the abortion pill mifepristone are restored:
