If I have to add more removal and take out more pieces that my deck wants because they are strategy pieces, well, that dilutes my deck where it becomes less fun. “Add more removal” is generic cop out advice.

The amount of mana this dragon has produced for me over the years is huge. The fact that it is an attack and not a damage trigger always blew my mind.

It’s so nice to see that the leopards are putting together committees to find out what happened to all the people’s faces. The first meeting will take place at an all you can eat face buffet.
I often think about that with all foods. Like, there a lot of foods out there that a specific string of accidents had to happen for them to exist. Like bread. No way there was a dude standing in a rando wheat field and said, “You know what? I can turn this shit into a loaf.”
Honestly, only kind of. And not even half-assed, it was more like eighth-assed.
And before someone says, “I shouldn’t have to play sub-optimally”, that’s not what I’m saying. I saying play with specific restrictions based on the pod when you realize your deck is throwing smoke and the other decks are throwing bubbles.
And at the end of the day, if you are poor at judging the power level of your deck, READ THE ROOM. Just because you draw interaction doesn’t mean you have to play it. Same thing applies if you really don’t want to downshift a deck.
How about super secret non-creature second commander partners? I want to build a deck with these as my secret partner commanders.
Last night’s no churn ice cream was the best batch yet. Coconut ice cream with chopped up Mounds bars and slivered almonds. I used sweetened condensed coconut milk as my base this time for obvious reasons, but I think it gave it an even silkier texture. So good.
I think I might completely pull apart Lathril. I just pulled some cards from it to finish my Ygra deck. I rarely played it. It was just too elf-y. Which I mean by that is, it’s kind of the most boring of full on typal.
We got a chest freezer and I had to decorate. I had to represent mst3k, Venture Bros, Diablo, Supernatural, the ‘Burbs, Metalocalypse, Drag Race, and What We Do in the Shadows.
