Have you ever tried Cassette Beasts? It's a fantastic monster tamer/creature collector game that has a killer soundtrack. It might scratch that Pokemon itch without having to fork over a huge chunk of change for a Switch 2.

⚗️Not that I'm going to have any time for a while thanks to Hades 2, but does anyone have any hidden gems they want to recommend in the current Steam sale?

⚗️Hades 2 is a masterpiece that manages to expand upon old systems without feeling like a strict retread while improving literally every aspect of the already fantastic framework of the original. I hope the devs are proud of what they've made because it's a work of art through and through.
