The seventh game I beat this year was The Looker. After the frustration of The Witness, it was great to have a short, free parody of it to have a few good laughs with.

The sixth game I beat this year was The Witness. It's a mixed bag. Some puzzles are incredibly clever and fun while others are infuriating and the rules are not apparent when first introduced to them outside of their designated tutorial areas. It's pretty and pretentious in equal measure.

I haven't been on here in a while. I had a few days where my eye was bothering but luckily that's getting better.

The fifth game I beat this year was Manifold Garden. Unlike the game in the last post, this one managed gravity switching well! The whole game is about that so it was very important to get that right. The nature of looping puzzle spaces was nice and trippy. It's a great color puzzle game imo.

The fourth game I beat this year was DeadCore. It's the first game this year that I didn't care for. It's a first-person platformer made by a small team that seems to have not made anything else. There's a gravity shifting mechanic that rotates the camera automatically and makes me nauseous.

Why must I feel the urge to socialize when I'm very sleepy and not when I have a lot of energy?

I'm a bit late to this (not as much of a social media user as I was a few years ago) but I wanted to add to the support. You're more than the art you create. The interactions we've had have always been pleasant and that's something I appreciate. I hope you stay healthy and happy as you make art.

Soft is good!

The third game to be beaten this year was Slay the Princess. By "beat" I mean playing enough to not get a proper ending. It was pretty cool and some moments were actually disgusting in a good way. I'm tempted to try a few more paths but I also am daunted by just how branching the game seems.

You're right, it's been ages since a former winner wasn't in contention. I'm happy how things worked out last weekend and hope there will be more good games to come.

As for the new designs, they're both really good! The Broncos have a very cozy look and the translucent raincoat is peak fashion.

The second game to be beaten this year was the story mode of Lethal League Blaze. It's short and it gives each character a showcase. I do wish it had just a couple more segments for some characters. I do like how it incorporates mirror matches and reskins in creative ways.

As someone who always tries to math out my friends' sona weights when they can't pick a number, I admire your technique. It's a bit more math than I feel capable of doing but I'm glad someone out here is crunching the numbers for enormous folks!

I know you were thinking about views from the back with a bigger belly and I'd like to think that thought and this piece are linked! I know the backside is often a focus of a jockstrap piece but my goodness that belly is huge! It's an absolutely stellar look for you!

As I've described it to my friends, there are teams I want to win for "football reasons" and then there are the teams I want to win for "furry reasons". Sometimes they line up, but there's been some fun divergences. It also means I'm happier with more outcomes.

It's been quite the interesting season and hopefully the playoffs are also fun! I think we've seen a lot of teams represented across these years of drawings but it's always nice to see a new team that hasn't made the playoffs in a while get represented.
