They do - the Holiday Inn at Inverness Airport - at least for previous series. I can’t see the celebrities slumming it there.

Yes. There’s an amazing variety but that sometimes tips over into novelty chasing by the cask “tickers” and I wonder if the overall volume reduces sharply then the economics of the smallest also become unsustainable. If the likes of Landlord or Pride exit most pubs then cask would be in big trouble.

Is there a top 59 to compare it with now. A lot of big brewery acquisitions seem to have been lost (or become niche facsimiles). But many of the more independent brands seem to have waxed and waned. Is the cask beer market polarising into Gk IPA, Doombar and others with a massive tail of micros?
