she is welcome to--even if she waits till the last day --but she can't expect everyone else to bow out in her honor. Jasmine got Colin to bow out. Okay. Was Colin a tool for Christian nationalism?
She's in. It's a fight. She can quit if she wants, but demanding everyone else quit is rather strange.
He is not a tool for Christian nationalism. Ya know, I learned that its better to talk about individual behavior rather than to lump people into groups.
White men are actually allowed to start campaigns and sound off on issues they are passionate about. If a Black woman also joins in that campaign,
He had asked her if she was running. She said no. He started, and was running for months before she declared on literally the last day, forcing her "friend" Colin Allred out. All the arguments blaming Talarico for "running against her" are backwards. *She* decided to run against *him* (and Allred).
Be highly suspicious of accounts trying to sow division in the Crockett/Talarico US Senate primary contest.
Talarico was running for months before Crockett entered the race on literally the last day.
When she entered, she pushed out her "friend," Colin Allred.
Who's screwing over whom?
Yeah. Don't worry too much about it...
βQuite simply stated, these people have their heads up their asses.β
You havenβt changed at all, sir. Nice to hear your authentic voice.
Hi, Trucks.
Looking forward to reading your Ukraine content.

It doesn't fix everything but poetry can help us stay human in these crazy times.
Ukrainian military: please make efforts to *capture* these foreign fighters, who could be victims of human trafficking or unethical contracts.
They would likely be able and willing to give information in exchange for repatriation to their homeland.
Sounds a bit like Twelfth Night! Lord of misrule and all that.
(That's 9 degrees Fahrenheit for anyone wondering.)

Sorry--just couldn't resist the echo of the silly ad.
Ad from the 70s for the cigarette marketed to women, Virginia Slims. The ad copy read, "You've come a long way, baby." The picture is clearly posted ironically.
The issue is open access; take a browse and see what you think.
Very happy for my review of an innovative production of Shakespeare's /Taming of the Shrew/ to appear in @shaxbull.bsky.social's most recent issue (dir. Jude Christian at Shax's Globe). It was the second production my students and I saw during summer 2024, and we couldn't stop talking about it.
Thoughts and prayers.
I think weβre really going to have to do a lot more of this. A massive deprogramming so that people can read more than ten words at a time without anxiety.

According to RT....
They continue looking without speaking for several seconds.
FADE TO BLACK.
. . . keeping his eyes fixed on Malvolio. He sees that Malvolio has been crying.
MALVOLIO (still looking down): I was seeking no company here.
ANTONIO: Faith, nor was I.
Malvolio hears something--kindness? empathy?--in the sailor's voice, and looks up. He sees a tear starting in Antonio's eye . . .
. . .lifts his tankard off the table; Antonio clinks it and downs half a quart of sack in one gulp. Impressed, Malvolio takes a better look at him. Antonio swallows hard, opens his eyes, and notices Malvolio's gaze. Malvolio quickly looks away, fumbles with his drink. Antonio lifts his drink . . .
. . . does not recognize Malvolio at first but then sees a bit of the yellow stocking under the coat and offers a consolatory grimace and a raised tankard. Malvolio refuses to lift his glass at first, but then notes that Antonio is not mocking or judging, just acknowledging him. He reluctantly. . .
. . . where Malvolio is sitting with his back to Antonio. Antonio sits without speaking and turns away from Malvolio, whom he does not immediately recognize. Malvolio looks up, annoyed. A flicker of recognition crosses his face, and he lifts his chin in a barely polite acknowledgement. Antonio . . .
. . . (which Sebastian has returned to him) and just looks at it. He forgets what he's doing.
BARKEEP: Do ye have the money, sailor?
ANTONIO: Oh, aye. Here's for you.
Antonio takes his drink and looks for a place to sit in the crowded room. There is an extra stool at the table in the corner . . .
