Thatβs when they zag and find a way to tie
Thatβs when they zag and find a way to tie
Once again the Timberwolves are starting a game after it should already be finished
Here's the thing about this Wolves team: Every time you (and they) think they have it together and are ready for a run, they prove you wrong.
And every time you think they're dead and buried, they also prove you wrong.
Seventeen games to go. Anything can happen.
(Also I would be remiss not to mention to anyone who might not know that one of the bad guys in the prequels is named Nute Gunray which is an amalgamation of Newt Gengrich and Reaganβs name spelled backwards phonetically.)
I think all franchises eventually succumb to this. Original art is about things, and the longer it goes on, the stronger the temptation to make it about itself. It even happened to Ghostbusters, which started as an inherently silly comedy.
This just reminds me that Star Wars is too self-referential these days, if George was still in charge this guy would be named Noem Hegsith or something. The actual name will be some deep-cut EU guy (and Iβll lap it up to be clear)
i couldn't resist defector.com/i-will-never...
It's easy for me to say now that I'm nearly 20 years divorced from being "forced" to read anything, but I've come to realize that the struggle is the point! It's how we learn! Grappling with words written centuries ago and what was meant by people who are different is just so vital to "thinking" imo
There have always been stupid and incurious people, and I donβt think the distribution is different than it ever was. But Iβm not sure stupidity has ever been tolerated, let alone celebrated, the way it is today. Whatβs worse is nobody whoβs stupid seems to even know theyβre stupid anymore.
"Number high. Higher than normal. Number go higher? Number go highest ever?" this is basically peak human play
Pretty crazy how important the blockade of a trade route is right now

βThe first 60 point game of the 25/26 season will belong to Bam Adebayo and heβll have it before the end of the third quarterβ is the kind of thing you bet on when you have a delorian with a flux capacitor
Heβs good at attacking a tilted defense by driving which is what I meant, admittedly a real distinction from what Gobert does even though I lumped them together.
Iβm not sure I would say this team is optimized around Ant offensively overall, but it definitely seems optimized for this chart. Two elite rollers (Gobert/Randle) and two elite shooters (Jaden/Donte) plus elite shotmaking himself means good things happen when Ant is blitzed.
honestly, valid
If he plays 65 games, I think SGA won MVP tonight
"hey, you like my shoes? i'll get you a pair, they'll be at your house tomorrow" is unfortunately trump at his most hank scorpio coded
Clocks were a mistake
Some of them, a bit, maybe
Couldnβt even get it under 10 π
Yeah I was just going to say this is plenty of reason to write this one off
Bones 3/10 too. Ant, Julius, Naz, and Gobert with efficient games, everyone else canβt hit the ocean.
I just donβt think the wolves can survive both Jaden and DDV going 0fer
julius misses ayo wide open on the break, absolutely biffs the layup, lets the guy drive by him on the other end
That might be the latest whistle Iβve ever seen (clear foul but still)
Okay Julius!!!!!
Yes they are 100% coming back. 35-40% chance they win tho
