The way you painted that with the stone fronting and black back works so well!

I'm afraid I am firmly in the camp of 'why not an updated version of this for 40k?!'
Ultramarine praetor
This guy was a fun little extra piece to work on during the lulls at work #warhammer #warhammercommunity #paintingwarhammer #nerdlings #wepaintminis
Rusty perhaps, but this survivor of the black sands of Isstvan remains unbroken. Well, physically. When it comes to the crew's mental and emotional state...
It's robots today, I can do that!
Charity commission to help one of my dearest oldest friends. Her daughter has been in pain for years and doctors keep dismissing her. I want to raise some money for a private diagnosis.
I'm going to drop my price for building and painting FW primarchs to £300 or ask me about any other single model.
Vindicator Laser Destroyer
Saturnine Dreadnought
Saturnine Praetor and Terminators
MkII Centurion
Still plugging away at World Eaters infantry, so while that goes on here’s some completed units from the army that are a bit more interesting!

Repainted my lord exultant base to look more like my other Emperor's Children
How about changing up some slimy rotting followers of the plague god into good honest hardworking soldiers!
A photo of a Warhammer Miniature: Inquisitor Cartavolnus is a human wearing a midnight blue robe over iron-grey armour with gold trim. His dark skin is almost hidden under the hood of his robe, but his augmetic eye gleams out. His backpack is adorned with purity seals, and atop it stands a huge gold-edged inquisitorial "I", towering over his own head, in case you forgot who he works for. In his hands - one gloved, and one replaced by metal-skinned augmetics, he holds a massive black sword which he thrusts point-down into a quite obviously daemonic book emitting a pink fire.
Inquisitor Catavolnus gonna change this obviously Tzeentchian book into ashes.
Progress on my terminators.
Painted using @thearmypainter.bsky.social Warpaints Fanatic line.

The leader of my veteran group with a plasma pistol and a power fist and her plasma gunner pal with a pigeon on her back
The resident medic of the group is dressed in a once white coat, has a sign with some kind of medical symbol on it and her eyes glow orange from under her helmet
The standard bearer dressed in red
The vox comms specialist has numerous TV screens glowing green on a staff with servo skulls jotting down orders to relay.
I finished my "Cadian" command squad! I need to think up some fun names and a cool story for these ladies but I'm so happy with how grungy they came out! #astramilitarum #imperialguard #nerdlings #warhammercommunity

Oi #nerdlings wanna see something cool? I've almost finished building and basing my Aeldari!!!! #warhammercommunity
Screamer pink is a tier 1 reliable paint that will never let you down!
Highlighting red? Basing for a bright pink? Painting mouths? Just want a great tone?
Screamer Pink has you covered!
A picture of the full squad of 11 miniatures on a kitchen towel backing. They are painted in red cloth with rusty metal armour. Their backpacks have glowing orange pigeon eyes on them.
A small pigeon gryphon is mounted with an impressive flame thrower
The leader of the unit sports multiple guns and a chain sword on her hip
The back of the jump packs showing off the pigeon like wing markings and lots of rust
My first fully painted Imperial Guard squad is finished!!! I love them so much! Lovely little pigeon Aquillons!! #nerdlings #warhammercommunity #imperialguard #astramilitarum

Gribble!

That makes a lot of sense given the IW would really value the durability and grinding nature of Plague Marines
Iron Warriors look best grungy!
Fun little prpject de-nurgling the Death Guard kill team into something equally grimy but less visably corrupted.

More photos from slightly different angles. Tried to convert all the models so they can still be used for the same kill team profiles

40k Skitarii (loads)
30k Skitarii (little smaller, about 15+)

A space marine in Iron Hands livery with a power tetsubo
Been a while since the realironhand did any Iron Hands so here's Caanok Var. The projection bit from the RH servo skull pinged off the sprue never to be seen again 😆 oh well!

Just finished the last few models, so here is the completed Helsmiths army!
Dragon at the back there is a replacement for the Dominator as I'm not a huge fan of its design.

Yeah I have that issue with a few of my resin models (land raiders) but I tend to do multiple magnets then double up with a blob of blu-tac
Absolutely the way. I ended up magnetsising most of mine because of taking armies to play people, but I still have a bunch of boxes that are just full of blu-tacced models too
The grime was mostly me dousing them in typhus corrosion, washes, and pigments to be fair!
How about de-nurgling while somehow making them grimier?!
