What is not on the primaries chart is the fact that each state in our union receives two senators, regardless of how large or how small their populations may be.

⭐There is debate in some circles to make the number of senators each state gets proportional to the population size.

The Newark, New Jersey Public Schools special election is on April 21, 2026.

The Newark, New Jersey Public Schools general election is on April 21, 2026.

The Special general election for U.S. House New Jersey District 11 is on April 16, 2026.

Although New Jersey holds its primary on June 2nd, there are other special elections in April.

If no candidate in Mississippi reaches that threshold, the top two finishers advance to a runoff election in early April.

For the Mississippi primaries, Mississippi law uses a majority-vote requirement and this means that candidates must receive more than 50 percent of the vote to avoid a runoff.

If no candidate wins a majority in Georgia, the top two finishers, regardless of what party they belong to, will advance to a runoff election.

Georgia law dictates that special elections should be held on a nonpartisan ballot, so candidates from all parties appear together, with no party labels listed.

Today's special election in Georgia will have polls open statewide, and we are counting on you to get out and vote!

Although Georgia does not hold its regular statewide primaries until later this spring, voters in one congressional district are participating in a special election on Tuesday to replace Marjorie Taylor Greene who resigned from her seat earlier this year.

I know some of my friends will be cheering for their favorite NY or NJ NHL team, while also watching the MAAC quarterfinal match.

The MAAC Tournament will feature a quarterfinal basketball match between Mount St. Mary's versus Siena at the wonderful Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in amazing Atlantic City, New Jersey at 8:30 PM.

This tournament is pivotal because it determines the teams that will represent the conference in the coming NCAA tournament.

Let's talk about the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) basketball tournament held annually in Atlantic City, New Jersey since 2020.

What a super hospitable and greatly organized tournament!

For the NHL hockey, Washington Capitals plays against Boston Bruins.

Then later today, it's New York versus New Jersey.

Also, the Philadelphia 76ers play against Atlanta Hawks.

The prime-time game is Golden State Warriors vs. Oklahoma City Thunder.

Later we have, Los Angeles Clippers taking on Memphis Grizzlies.

Then we have, Brooklyn Nets versus Detroit Pistons.
