We rented a Jeep because we were on a road trip in my wife’s SUV, a Mercedes, and I didn’t want to beat it up too much!
The rental Jeep was great, a Rubicon!

The rafting outfit took us down through a tunnel to the bottom of the dam!
Then we drifted to Lees Ferry, where they had a van waiting to take us back to Paige.
We stopped for lunch and a walk to some pictographs during the rafting trip, it was a great way to spend a day!

Same trip, I think. Started below the dam and ended at Lees Ferry.
If continued on from Lees Ferry, you would get into some rapids and into the Grand Canyon 🙏!

We took the same rafting trip, it goes right through Horseshoe Bend in Marble Canyon.

The view is from the top and looks down into Shafer Canyon, above is a blue sky with white clouds. The trail is called the Shafer Canyon Trail.
I was introduced to this trail by a great photo by my bsky friend Manel Vinuesa from Barcelona!
It is the Shafer Trail, now part of Canyonlands NP, but it has an interesting history.
After seeing a photo, I had to drive it!
We rented a Jeep in Moab,
well worth it!
