Amazing!
Yes, my eldest has been looking in charity shops too.
My 15 and 13 year old daughters' current favourite piece of 'tech' at home is the DVD player.
They are loving going through our old collection, or heading to CEX and spending Β£1 to get a film.

I've been unemployed for a few months. I now set myself pretend jobs to prevent the rot setting in. My son thinks this guy is funny, which is a good enough excuse to make something. Any requests?
Newspaper presses above our heads are rolling with replicas of newspapers from the Boer War.
A Victorian typewriter on a wooden desk. The typewriter is at the end of the exhibit and can be used to type a message to be displayed.
A copy of Emily Hobhouse's speech to remember women and children who died in British concentration camps during the Boer War. The speech was delivered by her friend, as Emily was too ill to travel back to South Africa.
Fascinating afternoon outside Liskeard at The Story of Emily.
An attraction dedicated to Emily Hobhouse, who "defied the British Empire to expose the horrors of the concentration camps during the Anglo-Boer War".

Yoga in between helps with stretching and core strength.
Have also been testing magnesium and turmeric supplements, and magnesium gel, over the last week to aid recovery. It does seem to be helping.

This is giving me "We're halfway through the podcastβ¦" Adam Buxton jingle vibes.
Activists from the anti-billionaire campaign group "Everyone Hates Elon" went to the Louvre museum in Paris where they hung a framed photograph of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, taken by Reuters photographer Phil Noble on February 19.
Sublime.
Always good to get notice of a tender win first thing on a Friday.
Itβs amazing how many phone numbers I could remember from my youth as soon as I started using the rotary dial.
A 1980s rotary dial yellow telephone. The dial has numbers around it.
A display of telegraphy machines on a desk in an underground bunker that was used during the war.
A close up of a radio / telegraph machine with lots of analogue dials and switches.
Half-term trip down west to PK Porthcurno (Telegraph Museum).
Highlight for my teenage daughters was sending each other insults using Morse Code.
We just had our hip and ridge tiles completely replaced after Storm Goretti damage.
They are the tiles that run across the slates at the joining points of the roof.
It was Β£1,990 with scaffold and took a day.
Based on that, I reckon the whole roof would have been Β£8k+.

My hand holding a wodge of yellow arcade tickets.
The ticket-eating machine showing the total, 294, in red lights.
What we thought was a load of tickets, was only 294.
For reference, 60 tickets was enough to get a fun-sized bag of Haribo π
Hitting the big time π«
Half-term fun with youngest daughter in Newquay.
Had the random experience of watching Gloria Hunniford, Cliff Richard and (former Top Gear presenter) Tony Mason all bump into each other at baggage reclaim at Gatwick.
Air kissing AOTS.
Damian Hall came in off loop 3, but without collecting all his pages and is the last to face the bugler. Fog, cold, and the wet weather were factors. #BM100
Damian Hall began loop 3 barefoot at 22:54:26. Mathieu Blanchard and SΓ©bastien Raichon began loop 3 shortly thereafter. #BM100
