My 15 and 13 year old daughters' current favourite piece of 'tech' at home is the DVD player.

They are loving going through our old collection, or heading to CEX and spending Β£1 to get a film.

I've been unemployed for a few months. I now set myself pretend jobs to prevent the rot setting in. My son thinks this guy is funny, which is a good enough excuse to make something. Any requests?

Fascinating afternoon outside Liskeard at The Story of Emily.

An attraction dedicated to Emily Hobhouse, who "defied the British Empire to expose the horrors of the concentration camps during the Anglo-Boer War".

Yoga in between helps with stretching and core strength.

Have also been testing magnesium and turmeric supplements, and magnesium gel, over the last week to aid recovery. It does seem to be helping.

We just had our hip and ridge tiles completely replaced after Storm Goretti damage.

They are the tiles that run across the slates at the joining points of the roof.

It was Β£1,990 with scaffold and took a day.

Based on that, I reckon the whole roof would have been Β£8k+.
