Not the most interesting post for non-technical people today, but for those #gamedev people curious, here's a little snippet of how #DigiCritters handles Item Types. It isn't super elegant and could probably be a json, but it works well, so I can't complain! #indiegame #games #virtualpets #webbased

The items that you can give your critter in #DigiCritters are assigned to slots! Certain equipment pieces can be equipped to different slots. Held Items are usually the ones that provide extra combat actions, but any equipment can do so! #indiegame #gamedev #games #virtualpets #webbased

Thanks to the feedback from a couple days ago, I decided to split the difference and go for an altered styling on the Sunwheel for #DigiCritters! I think it turned out pretty well for programmer art! #indiegame #gamedev #games #virtualpets #webbased #neopets
