I'm a paramedic instructor. In class today, I had to explain measles to a group of students who know nothing about it. I had photos and information. They were totally unaware of the disease other than hearing it was coming back.

We're worried about losing some of the metal roofing on one of our barns. We've had 50-60 mph winds today. When I left for work this morning it was snowing large flakes sideways! Our kitty is very happy to be an indoor cat on days like today.

It's a better view than I had. We were completely clouded over.

Big hugs. 3 1/2 months ago, we said goodbye to my FIL's ancient kitty who had mouth cancer. We found the perfect replacement. An older, affectionate kitty full of personality. Two weeks ago, he started limping. He has advanced bone cancer. Dad is devastated, as are we. We feel your haze.

Thank you for reminding us that in the larger universe, the crap going on here on Earth is barely the merest blip.

We used to have a very small herd of Jerseys. When we would bring one of the big round bales of alfalfa hay into the pasture, we would need our Aussie and all of the family to keep the cows away so we could safely unload. Then the fun began. Head bumping, face rubbing, full on hoof dancing. Loved it

Monday's Thought - Instead of making voting easier, the GOP does all they can to make it more difficult. Now, everyone has to provide ID to register to vote. Now, they want Passports, etc. for us to actually vote. That is a Poll Tax. They base these onerous conditions of fraud. There is none.

This little girl (yes, girl!) is Van Helsing. She is tiny except for her giant attitude. She was found in the middle of the highway, in the middle of the night, as my granddaughter was coming home from working a Haunted House in October. So, she's got an unusual name.
