Ys 3 is a black to run through and I found the story surprisingly fun. It really tickles my fancy when the game's end title scroll says Adol fights tyranny and exploitation whenever he goes.

The games tagline is also just great. Wherever you go hope will always be there. So human!

I've been really enjoying the TurboGrafx Ys games. I started with the Sega Saturn version but once it hooked me I had to play the sequel too which unfortunately is untranslated on the Saturn. Ys 1+2 are so quaint and cute, they have a really wholesome vibe.
