In Iwate Prefecture, the disaster claimed 5,145 lives, with 1,110 people still missing. When I was younger, I lived in Miyako. I also lost an acquaintance in Kamaishi, and some of my relatives were affected by the disaster.

You mean the LAMY with the Kanji nib, right? I use it every day and enjoy it very much.
In Japan, the Kanji nib model sells for around ยฅ8,000 to ยฅ9,000, so once you factor in import fees and shipping, that price may be about right, or perhaps a little high.
