Exactly, it was perfect from all the Visma riders and Jonas won as they had planned...what more could you ask for from Visma?π

Yeah...at Danish Eurosport they chose to focus on Jonas not having climbing help (because Piganzoli crashed out), and mentioned that Jonas missed Yates...instead of rejoicing over the good team performances shown by Jonas/Visma.π
So they will keep that narrative going in mediaπ
I do not recognize that face..I thought NvH but I have no ideaπ€
We have missed it since the crash...but it's back, Jonas is finally backπ

Yeah...those 2 and Henry Hobbs should be very talentet.
And I am sure that there is a reason why Goszczurny+Taillieu are with the WT team in Oman. They must be good.
Yes. They do.
Hope young riders realize that Visma is a team where they can get many chances.
Because Visma really isn't a team with many leaders anymore.
Exactly. Visma's "2nd row riders" are simply not good enough.
There should be more riders who stepped up and showed what they can do when the best are not there.
Visma really misses both Simon and Cian. (But that is not the team's fault).
I hope BarrΓ©, Hagenes or Nordhagen can show something.
We posted the same...at the same timeπ
I wish he would go to altitude camp with the team instead of training by himself in Spain.
And then maybe add an extra race before Catalonia.
But yeah, it most likely won't happen.
True...but then he shouldn't have chosen Visma in the first place.
He won a fantastic Giro victory because he was strong. But also because he followed their training regime, because Visma is an experienced GT team and he had a super strong Wout to help him. (And then because EF and UAE were stupid)
I think he was dropped for 2 reasons;
Visma now has Brennan who is a much better sprinter for a GT and that Zingle gets a year to show that it was just bad luck that made him crash so often and also quite hard last year.π
Anders Mielke should do all interviews with Jonas; he really knows how to bring the "real Jonas out" for usπ
Yeah...maybe he is the Simon Yates replacement in the Giro?
And Tulett the same in tdf?π€
Yes. I also read that Fiorelli was promised a place on the Giro team.
But Visma probably chose to let him ride the Vuelta as Brennan's lead out.π€
Vuelta will be stage hunting and Nordhagen will have the opportunity to se what he can do in GC.π
It really is a strong TDF team for TTT.π
And I actually think all 3 of their GT teams make good sense.π
I think it's a good and strong team they are preparing for the Giro.
All riders are experienced GT riders.
and Vuelta team.

Yes. I have read that as well now. And it seems a good choice for Visma.
Absolutely! It's ok for him to quit. But it's not ok to do it in January.
He should be old enough to make such a decision in September and give the team an opportunity to replace him.
Tulett could do the Giro-Vuelta. And he has the right size bike and seems to become a stronger climber.
Yes, it's a bit funny that Kooij and Cian left Visma due to lack of leadership in certain races....just to see Brennan and Nordhagen now get those chances.π
Yes, I see Hagenes going if for some reason Affini isn't going to Giro.
He will definitely ride his first GT this year.
Yes, I agree with you, but think that Campenaerts+Tulett will follow Jonas (because of the bike) so?:
Jonas
Brennan
Fiorelli (Leadout)
Piganzoli
Affini
Campenaerts
Tulett

Yes. I think it will be the 1. time Jonas and Brennan race together.
Interesting! Jonas+Brennan for the Giroπ
Is it from an article?
I agree.
And just because some riders don't like Visma's training methods doesn't make them wrong.
It just means Visma needs to spend a little extra time making sure new riders really understand what they're getting into.
I'm sure EF's Laissez-faire methods aren't for everyone either.
I agree with your point. I guess when you hear about a person who has done something wrong/criminal, it is easiest to alienate him as much as possible instead of accepting that ordinary people sometimes do the wrong (and sometimes terrible things).
