[Top Section] Giant of Voronezh; Alternate Name: Voronezh Alien; Region: Voronezh, Russia [Middle Section] There are two figures. On our left is a tall humanoid with bulky bronze boots, a silvery bodysuit with a belt with a pattern that vaguely resembles the pattern on a basketball and a bronze disc on its chest. Its head is covered in a dark dome, however a set of three glowing red "eyes" peer out from within. In its right hand it wields a cylindrical mechanism. To our right is a cuboid machine with thin, peg-like legs, humanoid arms, and an assortment of lights, buttons, and a dial. Accompanied bye descriptive text. A 1989 extraterrestrial encounter that stood 3 meters (9 feet) tall. Alighted upon a group of children playing football at a park. Its gaze temporarily paralyzed one child, while its device erased another until it left. [Bottom Section] Some depictions in popular culture: Uchuu Daisakusen Chocovader [Unmo] (2002)

Supposedly two of these towering figures struck fear in the hearts of several children and one adult. They were accompanied by a machine-like being half their height that one apparently fiddled with to some end.

Inside you there are two Faltwoods Monsters.

Took the cryptids to my planetarium job today. Mothman from the Mothman Museum. Flatwoods, Van Meter Visitor, Enfield Horror, and Vegetable Man from @cryptidcomforts.bsky.social

Decided to make a quick fakemon, this one being a female alt evo to Elgyem based off the Flatwood Monster.

After sketching Mothman, I wanted to try my hand at another cryptid, and it only made sense to sketch Braxton County, West Virginia’s most famous citizen, Braxxie (aka “The Flatwoods Monster”). I would love a found footage movie about Braxxie so I wanted to give it that VHS vibe. #sketch #drawing
