To be honest, it seems the "Middle Eastern" antisemitism associated with islamic states of the region doesn't seem to be a driving force any more. Not just because the US is shielding the state of Israel. And that's despite the genocide of Palestinians perpetrated by it's nazi government...
Open antisemitism is pretty much the domain of nazis and their islamist counterparts. In "the west" it's almost exclusively nazis.
And if someone balks at our using the term "nazi", we'd like to remind them that open, proud (sic) and actively genocidal antisemitism was decidedly "their thing".
As someone whose very existence the right sees as political violence we definitely don't.

We couldn't stomach more than one donut* this time, but that's probably due to ADHD meds killing our appetite than any healthy/unhealthy food thing.
And discovering that we don't mind not eating sweets made us feel adult, and we don't like it.

Hey, don't harp on these kinds of movie adaptation. They always bring in the actually curious seeking original books. And from there a significant portion of those curious become avid readers and broaden their scopes really quickly.
We see it happening in every age bracket.
