Day 4 of my little poetry challenge.
The theme is “The Shire”
Is this even a poem? Well, yes. Doing this activity increased my appreciation for Tolkien’s prose. There is such a rich variety of words and sentence structures on this single page.

Day 3 of my Tolkien themed poetry challenge. I was tired yesterday and coming up with anything was difficult. The theme is “Frodo”.

Day 2 of my little Tolkien themed poetry challenge. You are welcome to join me though I know some folks probably have English class ptsd. Today’s theme is “mallorn”.

From the day we met every moment has been full of light and the dark corners of my life have been overthrown and drowned. We met by strange chances and happened upon a world in which united hearts find promise of a fairer world.

Today is the first day of the little poetry challenge I’ve set myself. It’s a bit awkward sharing my poor efforts but hopefully things will improve day by day. Do join me.
The theme for today is “fellowship”

Hello friends! I created this little challenge for May to encourage myself but I invite you to join me if you’d like. Hopefully it will be fun.

There’s sun on the other side of the mountains, it seems.
I think I might really have died if that happened, but no, it was at some point early in FotR.
MURDER! So cute!
a pressed and preserved SPIDER fell out from between the pages and onto my face! Little bastard scared the bajeebers out of me. Curse of Ungoliant right there.
My mother’s teenage bedroom was in the basement of her house, which is important because she gave me her old copies of The Lord of the Rings and one night when I was a kiddo I was lying in bed reading and
There is probably some kind of horrible Venn diagram involving the Punic Wars, Hannibal Lector, and the Donner Party. I can’t think of what’s in the middle though.

Camping water storage bags and water filters
I’m laughing over the idea of Sam Gamgee visiting a camping supply store. You could definitely improve a trip to Mordor with some of this stuff. #tolkien #luinellë
I’m going to Paris in a week. Anything I should eat? Or do? Or buy?
After shoveling loads of snow from the driveway yesterday I was able descend into town to get to the office, and there’s barely enough snow down here to chill a hobbit’s toes!
It’s snowing! The pine siskins are noisy when they are flying together.
They are blacktail deer. They are a subspecies of mule deer, a bit smaller than their cousins. They are pretty fluffy this time of year. They are everywhere in town.
We are putting in some mini ones in town and people have been howling on facebook about the “woke roundabouts”. Honestly baffled. People are real mad about traffic safety?

If there is I don’t know it. I’ve got two Roundup neighbors and a third who puts out poison rodent traps. I do not enjoy finding dead wildlife of any kind.
Herald For as long as the cold of winter Embraced me, I slept Beneath the soil and Remained still and quiet, Until the light reached down And drew me up with dewy fingers, and Rising, I unfolded the banner that says, Yet again, spring has come.
February has finally come. Here is an acrostic poem I wrote a while back.
A woman wearing a plaid shirt is sitting cross-legged in a large cardboard box.
If I fits, I sits.
I’m not going to bother resisting (it’s pointless). Full Sauron at once, but with leftist economic policies. I cannot be trusted! Bahaha
I’d like to say I’d nobly resist, but who am I kidding? It would go something like: nobody can resist this -> why bother? -> urban planning Sauron, in about 6 minutes. There’s gonna be a whole lot more roundabouts let me tell you!
